Rhulani Safari Lodge
About the Safari Lodge
“The style, the look and feel, the flow is exactly what we had in mind for the content. It was an excellent decision to go into this project with you!” Rolf, Owner of Rhulani
More than a holiday, Rhulani Safari Lodge is a place that will guarantee you a lifetime experience. Approximately 300km away from Johannesburg, you’ll find Rhulani, which is in Madikwe; a private 75,000 acres game reserve in the north-western region of South Africa. With a restricted number of vehicles and a malaria-free game reserve, it is an area worth visiting.
Rhulani is a small boutique safari lodge with 7 chalets and 1 family suite. You can enjoy the total privacy of your own private plunge pool while you relax in the spacious luxury of your private chalet. The seven chalets are air-conditioned for warm summer evenings and have a Morso fireplace for the cool winter nights. All rooms are fully equipped with coffee and tea stations and a fully stocked bar fridge. The en-suite bathrooms have an oval bath, twin basins, indoor and outdoor showers.
The two-bedroom luxury family suite has two en-suite bedrooms, with outdoor showers. All the rooms lead onto a private deck with plunge pool. The bedrooms have air-conditioning and Morso fireplaces. The extra-large bedrooms can accommodate two comfortable stretcher beds for children. The sofas in the lounge can also be converted into two single beds.
You can have massage treatments in the privacy of your room or on your private deck, and there is free wireless internet in all chalets and common areas of the lodge.
As Rhulani is in the middle of Madikwe, you will have several opportunities to experience the true African bush; Very close to the safari lodge is a water hole, where the wildlife comes to drink. On an everyday basis you get to experience elephants, impalas and zebras, amongst others, on a very small distance while you enjoy Amarula in the outdoor lounge or on your private deck.
For a more active and sensational game viewing, you can join on daily game drives from an open Land Cruiser or on foot with an experienced game ranger (Bush Walk). More activities are possible too.
At Rhulani there is one restaurant. When dining you experience the magnificent African night sky, warmed by a roaring fire, as the setup for dinner is often outside. In addition, a variety of indoor locations are also available, and can also enjoy a romantic dinner on your own private deck. The traditional Southern African cuisine at Rhulani is complemented by a selection of world-class South African wines.
